The Emerald Nightmare: Il'gynoth

There have been no comments lately, and I just encountered something different from what has been posted before. This quest has been sitting in my bags for months. Today I went into the Darkbough LFR and helped kill Il'gynoth. The quest log showed the kill but no corrupted egg fragment. Of course I had the one from starting the quest. But the quest did not show it checked off. I went to my class hall and the quest giver had the quest completion question mark. He took my corrupted egg fragment and the quest completed properly. Not sure why the quest log did not show it ready to turn in.

tl;dr: Queue for raid Darkbough.

Long Version
The quest doesn't say it, but the The Emerald Nightmare is a raid.

To further compound the confusion, there is no raid called The Emerald Nightmare.

When you use the Looking for Raid tool, your choices are:

Even thought it isn't called "The Emerald Nightmare", and even though it doesn't say "Il'gynoth": you want to queue for Darkbough.

If you are a priest and [champion=875] is on a mission, or assigned as a bodyguard, you will have to wait for him to return or un-assign him as your bodyguard to be able to turn this quest in. Just FYI because the ? for turn-in will still be on your map as if he's there.

Edit: This was hotfixed on 10/05. These quests are now turned into [npc=109776].
