TheWoWDBThis quest cannot be turned in after completing the raid because Malfurion is no longer present at the iris! You have to zone in the raid with a new group or just que for Tormented Guardians in LFR!

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but changing the difficulty level just kept me going to back in to the same complete area with Malfurion at the Cenarius encounter.
I found an easy fix.
Speak to Archmage Timear in Legion Dalaran at 63.70, 55.42.
Select the text to "Grant me a vision of the Tormented Guardians". This will queue you for your own LFR version of part of the raid.
Ok the prompt to go into it and once there turn around and go back out the red portal and up the walkway and turn in the quest.
This quest requires you to kill Cenarius in Emerald nightmare 4 times.
The reward is skipping the 4 bosses and getting instantly to Cenarius.

Description
The darkness of the Nightmare is like a heavy shroud, warping reality and altering the perception of all living things. As areas of the Dream are cleansed, Xavius's hold weakens, and the way to the heart of the Nightmare will be revealed. But there might be a more direct way... my teacher once spoke of a pure power that could illuminate the darkness of the Nightmare, and allow all paths to become clear. But alas, Cenarius is lost....
