The Emerald Queen

The Emerald Queen is a quest for level 10-45 in Val'sharah. It is step 4 of 12 in the Into the Nightmare storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Val'sharah at 51.9, 64.1. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.

Description

<name>, you have returned. Good.

I have counseled with the other archdruids and concluded that Cenarius' condition is merely a symptom of a much greater problem. Your experiences in Moonclaw Vale make that clear.

We need help.

There is one who can bring understanding to these events. With Thaon gone, we must ask that you aid us in reaching out to the Lady of Dreams.

What's funny about this quest is that your character seems to be raising their weapon to help with the summoning ritual, presumably filling in for the cat archdruid who was corrupted... even if your weapon has nothing to do with nature and/or summoning, or even a weapon of decay and corruption like the DK's artifacts.

Before this quest

  • Return to the GroveVal'sharah · Level 10-45

Now that my grove is safe, I can turn my attention to the threat you speak of. To hear of Cenarius' plight is disturbing indeed. Tell Malfurion that I shall meet him at the Grove.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Temple of EluneVal'sharah · Level 10-45

Cenarius is in danger. If his condition is not reversed soon, he will be lost to the Nightmare that threatens the Emerald Dream. To spare him that fate, we must have the Tears of Elune - the same relic you were sent here to retrieve. Elune's temple is not far. Go there. Find Lyanis.
