The vision you see when you consume the drink, "The Golden Dream", is actually a vision of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. It appears to be a vision updated to fit the current state of the vale too, as doing it in 5.3 showed me the Horde digsite and the desecrated area.
Come 5.4, I have a feeling this vision won't be so 'golden' anymore...
When escorting Li Li (Chen Stormstouts niece) her comment changes depending on wether you're a Herbalist or not.
If you have Herbalism (Not sure if it requires a certain level to trigger this dialogue though) she says the following
Li Li says: <Name>... you picked that flower like a champion! You're like a... a professional flower-picker! Have you done this before?If you dont have Herbalism, she tells you not to Manhandle the plant!
Li Li says: Yikes, <Name>, don't manhandle the thing. Have you never picked an herb before?Yep, she says "An herb" - Naughty blizzard! lol

Description
Ashyo must have experienced what we call the golden dream. Many of us working here have seen it, too - often after a long day of toiling in the pools. It is said this vision--and the feeling of elation it brings--is a reward to the mind for working the body. There IS an easier way, though we rarely resort to it anymore: a tea can be brewed using lotus root and dreamleaf, which grows around the shrine on the upper tier. Bring the dreamleaf to Yan back in town and he can brew the tea for you.
