To charge the Netherstar, look for the little rock pools all around the area, they are blue in the middle and should be lit up so you can see them. It takes quite a few to charge it, and I found that you get attacked each and every time, so maybe if you are low on DPS bring a friend, it's the ravenous things that attack the most. Good luck.
