The Nefarious Clam Master...

The Nefarious Clam Master... is a quest for level 10-30 in Borean Tundra. It is step 71 of 182 in the Borean Tundra storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Borean Tundra at 57.3, 44.1. It rewards 6 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

It's despicable, really, to anoint one's self as the "Clam Master," as if they hold mastery over the creatures of the sea. None may make such claims!

This "Clam Master" must be found and slain. He was last seen at the wreckage just off the coast of the Abandoned Reach. Find him and kill him.

Once this is done, return to Hierophant Cenius at the D.E.H.T.A. Encampment, north of here, and let her know that the mission was a success.

Clam Master K can be found roaming underwater near the shipwreck at 61,66. He has a special Hooked Net attack that does between 1200-1800 physical damage (on leather) and roots you in place. Also, watch out for shark adds that are swimming around the wreck.

He seems to have a fairly quick respawn time, so move out as quickly as you can so you don't have to fight him again.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Not On Our WatchBorean Tundra · Level 10-30

Strewn across this beach, amidst the flotsam and jetsam, are crates and sacks of animal parts. It would seem that Nesingwary is in cahoots with the Northsea Freebooters. Those dirty pirates are transporting the goods that Nesingwary's murderous lackeys gather offshore.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Unfit for DeathBorean Tundra · Level 10-30

Just south of us the caribou used to roam freely, peacefully. Then Nesingwary showed up and everything changed. Now the caribou are in a perpetual state of frenzy, always in a panic. They are stalked by the hunters and trappers hidden in the field. Nesingwary's executioners are unfit for death.
