Sar'this is a very strange NPC. As you listen to his text during the event, he notes that he owes a debt to the dragonmaw and declares that this service he provides will clear his debt. At the end of the event he sacrifices his own life to summon the last elemental. What debt could he owe that he'd sacrifice his own life to repay?
An easier way for the khorium power core is to buy it of a vendor for 4 gold in Netherstorm
