Nethercite Ore is a quest for level 25-30 in Shadowmoon Valley. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.
A miner!
<Varkule salutes.>
An orc after my own heart! That's how Varkule got his start - minin'! There ain't nothin' better than getting down and dirty in the mines, is there?
Now get out there and find those nethercite deposits. Strip 'em for all their worth and bring me back the ore.

The entrance to the mines is at 65, 90. Without co-ords: on the main map, there is a blue crystal under the 'N' in 'Netherwing'. It's at the base of that blue crystal, a little left off-centre.
The quest for this and the skinning/herbalism drops (which can also be looted from the sludge covered objects mentioned above) are only available if you have those professions.
You need 350 mining to mine the ore, there is also a small chance to get a Netherwing Egg from the node. And by small i mean i was farming for about an hour and found 5... not sure if im just lucky though :P

This unusual brood of dragons was spawned from the eggs of Deathwing's black dragonflight, and infused with raw nether-energies. Now, they seek to find their identity beyond the shadows of their father's destructive heritage.
Reputation group: The Burning Crusade.
Other quests in Shadowmoon Valley that reward Netherwing reputation: Ally of the Netherwing (+42,000), In Service of the Illidari (+250), Netherwing Crystals (+250), Nethermine Flayer Hide (+250), Netherdust Pollen (+250), A Slow Death (+250).
