Confirmed to work with Spells as well. It's not really the same distance as Disengage. More similar to the effect of Typhoon, same height with perhaps a little less distance.
On a side note. It is kind of funny when it does proc with Typhoon. They bounce once for it, then again after landing for the proc.
Confirmed to work with ranged attacks. Knocks the opponent back slightly, with the knockback being similar to the hunter spell Disengage.
