Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Avalanche Elixir cost 47 gold93 silver. Most of that is Ancient Mana Potion - 1 at 27 gold98 silver each, 27 gold98 silver, 58.4% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 50 gold45 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 54 gold, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 6 gold7 silver; the Auction House would keep 2 gold70 silver of a sale, leaving 3 gold37 silver. That is an estimated 7.0% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 44.5% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 237 units across 12 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
