Where the reagents come from
Simple Flour. No recipe, Blizzard quest reward or dungeon journal drop in our game data produces it. Also a required reagent in 5 other recipes (5 Cooking); Delicious Chocolate Cake takes the most, 8 per craft.
Mysterious Fortune Card. Made with Mysterious Fortune Card (Inscription, Cataclysm Inscription) from 1
Light Parchment and 1
Blackfallow Ink. At lowest listed prices that makes one Mysterious Fortune Card for 7 gold1 silver, against 10 gold77 silver listed.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Fortune Cookie cost 10 gold87 silver. Most of that is Mysterious Fortune Card - 1 at 10 gold77 silver each, 10 gold77 silver, 99.1% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 11 gold44 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 25 gold68 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 14 gold81 silver; the Auction House would keep 1 gold28 silver of a sale, leaving 13 gold52 silver. That is an estimated 124.4% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 8.7% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 188 units across 11 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
