Crafting estimate at current listings
At current lowest listed prices one craft shows an estimated profit of 8 silver40 copper, but the crafted item’s listing is far from its 30-day median (see below).
- Reagent cost (lowest listed)
- 3 silver
- Crafted item, lowest listed price
- 12 silver
- Auction House cut (5%)
- 60 copper
- Estimated profit at that listed price
- 8 silver40 copper (+280%)
- Evidence: 34 current listings holding 657 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.
- Outlier: the crafted item’s lowest listing is 12 times its 30-day median of 1 silver, so this estimate rests on a listing far above its usual level.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Spice Bread cost 3 silver. Most of that is Simple Flour - 1 at 2 silver each, 2 silver, 66.7% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 3 silver16 copper - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 12 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 9 silver; the Auction House would keep 60 copper of a sale, leaving 8 silver40 copper. That is an estimated 280.0% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 6.7% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 657 units across 34 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
