Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Invisibility Potion cost 29 gold46 silver. Most of that is Ghost Mushroom - 1 at 25 gold25 silver each, 25 gold25 silver, 85.7% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 31 gold1 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 30 gold, which does not clear it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 54 silver; the Auction House would keep 1 gold50 silver of a sale, leaving −96 silver. That is an estimated -3.3% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 277.8% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 122 units across 14 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
