Where you hear it

pvpflagcapturedmono.ogg marks a point on the board in a capture-the-flag match. Three captures win, so each one is a big swing in morale. The sound plays for both teams, a fanfare for one and a warning for the other. Warsong Gulch shipped with it in the original game's battleground patch. It suits an alert for any goal reached.

TriggerPlays when a flag carrier scores a capture in Warsong Gulch or Twin Peaks.

Notification sound

Over a text, a fanfare a little over three seconds long registers instantly and is hard to confuse with a stock phone chime.

  1. Tap iPhone ringtone (.m4r) above and choose Download.
  2. Open the Files app, go to Downloads and open the file.
  3. Tap Share, then Use as Ringtone (iOS 26).
  4. Pick it in Settings, Sounds & Haptics, Ringtone or Text Tone.

  1. Tap Download MP3 above.
  2. Open Settings, Sound & vibration, then Phone ringtone or Default notification sound.
  3. Tap My sounds, then +, and pick the MP3 from Downloads.

  1. Download the OGG or MP3 above.
  2. Open Server Settings, Soundboard, Upload Sound, and pick the file.
  3. Name it and choose an emoji. You need the Manage Expressions permission.

Discord takes clips up to 5.2 seconds and 512 KB; this one fits.

Windows

  1. Windows sound schemes only take WAV files, so convert the MP3 to WAV first (Audacity or any audio converter does it in one export).
  2. Open Settings, System, Sound, More sound settings, then the Sounds tab.
  3. Pick an event such as Notification, click Browse, choose the WAV, then Apply.

OBS alert

  1. Download the MP3 above.
  2. In your alert tool (Streamlabs or StreamElements) set it as the alert sound file.
  3. Or in OBS add a Media Source with the MP3, untick Loop, and fire it with a hotkey.
