Where you hear it
ragnarosdeath.ogg plays when the raid brings the Firelord down at the end of Molten Core. In the original story he is not destroyed there; he is driven back to the Elemental Plane, which is why he could return in Cataclysm. Defeating him was the first major raid milestone for most Classic guilds, often after weeks of gearing for fire resistance. His voice stays menacing even in defeat, sinking into the lava rather than pleading. The file runs about ten seconds.
TriggerPlays when the original Molten Core Ragnaros is defeated and retreats into the lava.

Notification sound
Over a text, a ten-second villain's defeat is unmistakable, though at 9.9 seconds it is best saved for the alerts that matter.
Discord soundboard
The full Ragnaros Death clip runs 9.9 seconds, past a 5.2-second soundboard slot, so cut the most recognisable part.
