Does this work with Demonic Slash in Dark Apotheosis form?

Edit: just confirmed, as of this moment, it does in fact work with Demonic slash.

As such, this might actually be the best option for Demo tanks using Grimoire of Sacrifice (and of course Soul Link for the 20% increased health). Seeing as this will constantly be mitigating incoming damage. Also, I was told that you cannot dodge while channeling (can somebody confirm?), so using Soul Harvest might not be the best idea unless you want an extra AoE to lay down to obtain agro.

5.4 nerfed this ability, and it now caps at 25% of the player's health. it still offers survivability for a massive damage spike that requires no clicking (e.g. Feng the Accursed) and even provides what is effectively passive reduced damage on any fight that has moderate consistent aoe (e.g. Primordius).

on some fights, Dark Regen is favorable. in pvp, it is an on-demand healing cd. in certain raid encounters, the soul leech shield is constantly whittled away and then unavailable for a massive damage spike. also, the shield only lasts 15 seconds, which seems long, but fights that have inherent dps downtime can let a big shield fall off. i always switch to Dark Regen on H Ji-Kun because the cds are needed only for Quills, and stuff like hatchling attacks and Caw are always happening.
