This spell originally came from the [item=80240] which randomly dropped from a mob in Pandaria if you were a sufficiently skilled Alchemist. The item started the quest Strange Spherical Stone to build the Zen Alchemist Stone. The option to learn from a trainer was added later, I believe in 5.4. Though you can create this stone as early as level 75 and use it for transmutes, you cannot equip it until 85.

Seems like this is well overdue. Should have been out when MoP launched. Nevertheless, my alchemist will definitely like this for awhile.
