I've noticed something interesting about how this behaves in a raid encounter. When You engage a raid boss as Ret, the blessing resets to Blessing of summer no matter what you were on before hand. What I am currently testing is popping blessing of summer before the pull. It switches to autumn. The boss is pulled and the blessing is reset to summer. I need to go back in and test this out to see if I retain the current buff when it resets to be sure. But if you do, "prepotting" blessing of summer seems like an awesome idea.
It might be obvious, although it wasn't to me, but despite the language saying blessing an ally, it works on you when not in a group. It also has a very fast reset, so it could be very handy in Torghast solo for instance.
