These boots make you run at +50% speed (equivalent to first ranks of Sprint, Dash and the Swiftness Potion).

They can malfunction, but the boots are not destroyed like the Goblin Rocket Boots.

30 minute cooldown.

Notable that these have an ilvl of 45, and thus can take a bc-level enchant, even though you can equip them at lvl 20.

This means you could have boar's speed or fortitude on a lvl 20 pvp toon in WSG. I don't see enough utility in AB to justify giving up the other stats you could get from other gear, necessarily, by late 20's.

These make great riding boots because if you get knocked off the horse, just pop these and run off. when they fail, you get hit with a minor form of conflag (basically blind+fire damage).
