How it works

Nether Portal is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Create Area Effect (effect type 179).
  2. Effect 2 is effect type 140, which the datamine does not name. It triggers spell id 302760.

What it does

Nether Portal is a spell with an instant cast, a range of 300 yards and effects that last 10 min. When cast it has a Create Area Effect effect.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
