Tooltip
Channels beams of lightning around the caster every 0.2 sec. for 4 sec.
How it works
It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.
Overload is built from 4 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 0.2 sec, 16 times over the full 4 sec. It triggers Channel Lightning.
- Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 0.2 sec, 16 times over the full 4 sec. It triggers Channel Lightning.
- Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 0.2 sec, 16 times over the full 4 sec. It triggers Channel Lightning.
- Effect 4 is Create Area Effect (effect type 179).
What it does
Overload is a Nature spell with a 3 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster), an 11 sec cooldown and effects that last 4 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 0.2 sec and has a Create Area Effect effect. It also casts Channel Lightning.
Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
