How it works

Each cast of Paralysis costs 20 Energy. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met. The aura is spent after 1 procs.

Paralysis is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 12. Its base value is 1.
  2. Effect 2 is effect type 0, which the datamine does not name. Its base value is 60.
  3. Effect 3 is Dispel (effect type 38). Its base value is 10. It scales with 0.25 times spell power.

What it does

Paralysis is a spell with an instant cast, a range of 20 yards, a 45 sec cooldown and effects that last 1 min. When cast it applies an aura and dispels effects. The client files the whole spell under the incapacitated mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
