Purging Protocol

Tooltip

Upon reaching 0 energy the Guardian begins to repeatedly unleash pulses of energy that inflict 50 Arcane damage to all players until it can link with an Energy Core. Each subsequent cast of Purging Protocol increases its damage by 100%.

In addition, all Sentries hit with Purging Protocol are destroyed.

How it works

Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Purging Protocol is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 50. It applies the infected mechanic. Its area radius is 300 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 276. Its base value is 100.
  3. Effect 3 is effect type 140, which the datamine does not name. It triggers Purging Protocol.

What it does

Purging Protocol is an Arcane spell with a 5 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 7 sec. When cast it deals Arcane damage (base value 50) with the infected mechanic in a 300 yard radius and applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the infected mechanic. It also casts Purging Protocol (record #354742). It stacks up to 99 times.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
