TheWoWDBThe best place to level up your skill from 100-150 (i went there at 100 but mobs were green already, so i guess a 80-90 skill would work aswell) is around Ratchet, the area between Stagnant Oasis and Thorn Hill is full of mobs (lions, raptors, plainstreaders, zhevra and some rare mob also xD); it took me 10-15 mins to skill up till 150 :)
Plus, that place is easly accessible for both alliance and horde.

To figure out the maximum level mob you can skin, divide yor skinning skill by 5.
Journeyman-level skinning allows you to skin up to a level 30 creature.
With gathering professions now comes new passive and cast abilities. Skinning now gives you the ability "Master of Anatomy". With each rank up in Skinning, you obtain a new rank in this skill.
