These are actually pretty nice to level engi on, cheaper than the mithril in any case, if you've farmed the mithril from mining its more economical to sell the mithril and buy the mats for this (At least on my server it is - by far)
Takes a hell of a long time to craft them though.
These are fairly unimpressive compared to items obtained via instances or quests. On a twink or powerleveled character, however, these might be better as they can be obtained at level 20 (because the only requirement is 215 engineering).
