TheWoWDBHere is how to get the schematic. First, you must have completed the "Are We There Yeti" quest line from Umi Rumplesnicker in Everlook. Then, once you have at least 250 engineering and are level 55, talk to her. She'll give you the quest called "A Yeti of Your Own," where you outright learn how to make them. It is NOT a dropped schematic! You learn it directly from her!

The quest [quest=8798] has gone AWOL. Explanations vary, but the first reports of the quest going missing that I've found were about a month old as of today's date, and it was reported as still working in Cata. But now, the quest just doesn't show up, despite me fulfilling the prerequisites.
For easy reference, it takes the following raw materials to make one Tranquil Mechanical Yeti. Assuming you make all the engineering items yourself and get the rest somewhere else.
