    What This Set Covers

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 9 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

    Set Bonus

8 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Armor of Raging Tempests, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

    • 2 pieces: Increase your highest secondary stat.
    • 4 pieces: When you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor, gain a Spark of the Primals. Once you reach 5 stacks, your next single target offensive ability will launch a devastating elemental attack.
    • 6 pieces: Fatal damage causes primal energy to overload, granting immunity to all damage and harmful effects for 8 sec. Can only be used outdoors in the Dragon Isles.

    Versions and Companion Sets

The game links 5 other versions to Raging Tempest, each labelled the way the collection journal labels it. This page is the The Forbidden Reach version.

15 companion sets shipped in the Primal Elements group alongside it:

    Shared Pieces and Appearances

8 pieces share their appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

    Look-Alike Sets

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Raging Tempest’s head, shoulder, chest, waist, legs, feet and hands, most shared models first:

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
