    What This Set Covers

This is a partial outfit - it fills 5 armor slots, so a full look needs 3 more slots from elsewhere. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

    Where to Farm This Set

2 bosses in Dragon Soul drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

    Dragon Soul

Forged by Deathwing during the War of the Ancients, the Dragon Soul harnessed the combined power of the dragonflights until it was ultimately destroyed. Through the Caverns of Time, Thrall and the remaining dragonflights were able to recover the powerful artifact before its destruction. Now they have rallied at Wyrmrest Temple in a desperate attempt to use the might of the Dragon Soul against Deathwing himself.

    The entrance is in Caverns of Time at 31.5, 41.5 (/way #74 31.5 41.5).

    • Morchok drops 1 piece of this set (Chest) on Looking For Raid. Adventure Guide map pin: 50.4, 69.3 on the Dragon Soul map. The most powerful elemental still under Deathwing's sway, Morchok-once a passive guardian-is now convinced that his only respite will come with Azeroth's demise. Morchok rages against the foundation of Wyrmrest Temple, Azeroth's last beacon of hope in the Hour of Twilight.
    • Spine of Deathwing drops 1 piece of this set (Hands) on Looking For Raid. Adventure Guide map pin: 33.2, 85.3 on the Dragon Soul map. When Deathwing first channeled the Dragon Soul's power against the other flights, the massive energies that were unleashed threatened to break apart his very body. Rather than forgo this weapon, he had adamantium plates fused to his scales to hold his body together. Later reinforced with elementium, these plates are now his weakness--the sole vulnerability to Deathwing's lethal presence.

    Set Bonus

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Vestments of Dying Light, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

    • 2 pieces: After using Power Word: Barrier or Divine Hymn, the mana cost of your healing spells is reduced by 25% for 10 sec.
    • 4 pieces: Your Power Word: Shield has a 10% chance to absorb 100% additional damage, and the duration of your Holy Word abilities is increased by 33%.
