Following the Second War, the ruined fortress of Baradin Hold on the remote island of Tol Barad was converted into a prison for some of the most dangerous forces on Azeroth. Yet with the devastation wrought by the Cataclysm, the prison's integrity has been compromised. Now as the Horde and Alliance vie for supremacy on the island, the liberation of its forgotten horrors may be at hand.
The entrance is in Tol Barad at 47.7, 53.1 (/way #244 47.7 53.1).
Baradin Hold entrance
Occu'thar drops 4 pieces of this set (Hands, Legs) on Normal, Heroic, 10 Player, 25 Player, 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 15.6, 63.2 on the Baradin Hold map. This ravenous demon broke free of its cage and gained access to the western wing of the prison, devouring all of the inmates held there. Occu'thar's gluttony resulted in a body too bloated to escape its environs, effectively turning the prison wing into its new holding cell.
The Firelands is the molten domain forged by the titans to house Ragnaros and his wayward minions. Following Deathwing's emergence into Azeroth, Ragnaros and his servants surged onto the slopes of Mount Hyjal before being driven back by the sacred mountain's valiant defenders. Now Ragnaros is rallying his loyalists to defend the Firelands from Azeroth's champions.
The entrance is in Mount Hyjal at 47.0, 78.2 (/way #198 47.0 78.2).
Firelands entrance
Alysrazor drops 2 pieces of this set (Chest) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 64.4, 38.0 on the Firelands map. When Ragnaros's forces surged into Mount Hyjal, the green dragon Alysra betrayed her allies and helped liberate the traitorous archdruid Fandral Staghelm. As a reward, she was purified with fire and reborn as a fearsome fire hawk.
Shannox drops 2 pieces of this set (Legs) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 49.3, 44.3 on the Firelands map. The flamewakers are among the most feared elemental guardians in the Firelands. Shannox is no exception. Serving as the chief hunter and kennel master of Ragnaros's hell hounds, Shannox patrols the elemental realm with his two most ferocious beasts: Riplimb and Rageface.
Baleroc, the Gatekeeper drops 2 pieces of this set (Hands) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 49.5, 31.0 on the Firelands map. Baleroc earned a reputation as a merciless combatant during the elemental wars of ancient Azeroth. Now that he is confined to the Firelands, Baleroc's sanity has dwindled. Few elementals dare disturb him, fearful that they will become victim to his battle lust.
Majordomo Staghelm drops 2 pieces of this set (Shoulder) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 51.0, 72.5 on the Firelands map. The loss of his son, Valstann, in the War of the Shifting Sands utterly shattered Fandral Staghelm's spirit. Now empowered by Ragnaros as the new Majordomo of the Firelands (replacing the deceased Majordomo Executus) and the leader of the treacherous Druids of the Flame, Fandral seeks to bring ruin to Azeroth rather than live in a world without his beloved child.
Ragnaros drops 4 pieces of this set (Waist, Head) on Normal, Heroic, Timewalking, 10 Player and 25 Player. Adventure Guide map pin: 50.8, 15.4 on the Firelands map. Ragnaros, lord of the Firelands, embodies the fury and destruction of the primordial infernos that forged Azeroth itself. Promised the chance to set Azeroth aflame without interference from Neptulon and Therazane, Ragnaros seeks to appease the Old Gods by incinerating the World Tree of Nordrassil.
