Causes 10 damage, stops your attack, and incapacitates the target for 4 sec. The target must be facing you. Any damage taken will break the effect. Awards 1 combo points.

How it works

Each cast of Gouge costs 45 Energy. Casting it triggers a 1 sec global cooldown. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Gouge is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 10. It scales with 1 times spell power.
  2. Effect 2 is Energize (effect type 30). Its base value is 1.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 12.

What it does

Gouge is a Physical spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards, a 10 sec cooldown and effects that last 4 sec. When cast it deals Physical damage (base value 10), restores a resource (base value 1) and applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the incapacitated mechanic.
