Ansirem's Copper Coin- This is the coin of Archmage Ansirem Runeweaver, former leader of Dalaran who preceded Antonidas and was succeeded by Rhonin. His coin is a reference to his daughter, Catelyn. The coin must be quite old, as Catelyn left Dalaran many years ago, joining the Blackwater Raiders, where she earned the title of "The Blade".

Danath's Copper Coin- Since Danath's full name is Danath Trollbane, the coin is really fitting. His familiy and nation are well known for fighting the trolls of Lordaeron for decades. Probably that's the reason why his line is nearly extinct...

Eitrigg's Copper Coin- Eitrigg is an orc who was rescued from certain death by Tirion Fordring - the paladin was later stripped of his title and exiled for defending the orc. He lived in exile until the recent death of his son Taelan Fordring. Tirion committed himself to refounding the order of the Silver Hand. He now leads the Argent Crusade, an organization consisting of the old Knights of the Silver Hand and the Argent Dawn, against the Lich King and the Scourge. To this day he remains good friends with the orc veteran Eitrigg.

Falstad Wildhammer's Copper Coin- Falstad, High Thane of the Wildhammer Clan is a noble Gryphon Rider who was commanding a small flight of such riders during the Second War. As for the book he is talking about, see Day of the Dragon.

Inigo's Copper Coin- If you have ever wondered how Kel'Thuzad came back to life the second time, well, this guy is responsible. Turned into a lich for his services, you can find his phylactery with the initials "I.M." etched on the side, standing for Inigo Montoy, though he doesn't like to use that name anymore.

Kryll's Copper Coin- Kryll was a goblin serving Deathwing, who was trying to enslave his master using the black dragon scale in the communication crystal given to Rhonin by Deathwing. Before his plan could fall into place though, he was annihilated by the golem guarding the Demon Soul.

Molok's Copper Coin- The coin belongs to Molok, a dwarf gryphon rider who took part in the defense of Hasic, a human town in Hillsbrad during the Second War. The girl the coin mentions is Vereesa Windrunner. This Molok is not to be confused with Molok the Crusher.

Princess Calia Menethil's Copper Coin- Though she plays an extremely minor role in the Warcraft lore, she is actually a quite important person: the daughter of Terenas Menethil II, and the sister of Arthas Menethil. She is yet to appear ingame (though Calia Hastings is suspected of being Calia Menethil). She was betrothed to Lord Daval Prestor, the mysterious noble who was to replace the treacherous Lord Aiden Perenolde as the ruler of Alterac, but Prestor disappeared before any final arrangements were made.

Salandria's Shiny Copper Coin- A Blood Elf orphan from Shattrath City, Salandria is a bodeful little girl, who, during the quest chain of Children's Week is attacked by the guards in the Caverns of Time, only to be stopped by Zaladormu, who says she will not be punished for "things she might do or fail to do in the future". She also says when she get's the Toy Dragon: "someday I plan to own a real one." She might become an important character in a future expansion.

Stalvan's Copper Coin- Stalvan Mistmantle is an undead noble with a bloodied past. He worked as a personal tutor and developed an indecent attraction to one of his students, a young woman named Tilloa (anagram for Lolita). Tilloa gave hints that she had interest in him, until one day she appeared before him with a young man, holding hands, and insulting Stalvan by comparing him to an old uncle, which infuriated Stalvan. It is unclear exactly what happened, but it was called 'a massacre' by some of the people you talk to during your quest to uncover the legend of Stalvan. It seems that he has butchered Tilloa and her family with an axe. He then returned to Manor Mistmantle in Duskwood, until the darkness crept into Duskwood and consumed him. They say he still resides there, lonely and mad, hungering for more revenge on any person who dares come near.

Vargoth's Copper Coin- Archmage Vargoth can be found troughout the world summoned by his staff in Kirin Var Village, Netherstorm. As for the context of the coin, it suggests that Sanders had some cargo for Vargoth when he crashed near the coasts of Westfall.

PLEASE NOTE: Throwing a gold coin into the Dalaran fountain will increase your chances of fishing up further coins for a short time. Do not make the same mistake I did and assume throwing them in is just a silly thing you can do for fun like throwing a paper zeppelin at another player. Blizzard should have really said more than "Use: Throw back into Dalaran fountain" on the gold coins. For someone like me who wanted to save the coins, it seemingly gives us no incentive to get rid of them

If you're curious, it can take upwards of 5 hours to fish up all the coins you need if you don't use the gold coin buff. Yes, I speak from experience. There should really be an achievement for not using any gold coins to get all the coins. >_>

Blizzard should add a coin case so people like me who like to keep items that are historical or important to lore can keep them.
