The Coin Master

As I spent many an I-have-nothing-better-to-do hour on this achievement, a multitude of questions came to mind: How exactly does a fishing hook manage to grab a coin? I keep fishing bent fishing hooks, but how come I have never had to buy fishing hooks? Where does the water go? How terrible does my backpack smell right now? How fast are these goldfish having sex to not be extinct countless times over? Can I watch? What do they even eat, COINS? Would the mammoths that trample this fountain daily not crush all the goldfish? Should I be checking mammoth feet for coins? What would my coin

In Hell, they make you do this achievement with Auto Loot turned off.

I did the bulk of this yesterday (just waiting on one gold coin) here are a few pointers:

- Stand a few paces away from the fountain, you will get less errors that your cast didn't land in water that way.
- Copper and Silver coins can be sold to the vendor standing next to the fountain.
- Gold coins can be used to toss it back into the pool to give a 2 minute "Lucky" buff which gives you a better chance to fish up coins.
- Be sure to have more than 2 minutes on your fishing lure before tossing in a gold coin!
- You must fish these coins up yourself, even though you can give them to friends, they won't get the achievements.
- Once you max out your fishing skill you can just purchase Bright Baubles instead of blowing all your more expensive fishing lures.
- Be patient! I've put probably 4 or 5 hours into this so far. Hopefully there will be some other people fishing for you to chat with while you get this.
