Anvil Mastery IV

Achievements: Anvil Mastery I, Anvil Mastery II, Anvil Mastery III, Anvil Mastery IV

10.1.7 adds achievements for all crafting professions to craft a certain amount of items. Blacksmithing requires you to craft 2000 items in total.

I purchased Dense Stone x2000 to craft Dense Sharpening Stone x2000. You can also try [spell=2674], [spell=9918], Rough Sharpening Stone, Coarse Sharpening Stone.

Always check how many are available on the market. When these achievements release, the market will be unstable due to large amounts of resources being bought up. Be cautious purchasing on the AH as it can sometimes autobuy high cost materials.

Personally, I did it with Shaded Sharpening Stone, bought 4000 of Shaded Stone for ~15s a pop, was way cheaper than any old stones on EU atleast.

There is an interesting bug, I assume, with this achievement. If your bags are full, but you still try to complete a craft, when the cast bar finishes the achievement will tick up, but no item will be created and no materials consumed. This does require you to press the create button up to 2000 times however.

I can only confirm this works with Dense Sharpening Stone, but I have to assume any other craft will work just as well, and no idea if it works for the other similar profession achievements.
