Here's what I've seen so far in Lemix on the Proudmoore (US) realm. It appears the bosses are on a fixed rotation, cycling through every six days.

The EU realms started with [npc=124555] on reset day when phase 4 of Legion Remix unlocked. Although the NA realms started a day earlier, they followed the same sequence and the bosses on the EU realms were a good predictor of what was to come on the NA realms. Now that the EU sequence ends with the same boss as the NA sequence started, it seems that it is a proper 6-day rotation and if you've missed a boss for whatever reason, you can easily calculate when it is due again. At this point it is all still just speculation, but I'm confident that the rotation is real.
