Here are my findings on the Eastern Kingdoms Cup Reverse Gold races:

Eastern Plaguelands - Moderate

Conserve vigor in the early stages and even a little bit in the middle. Use Skyward Ascent on the inclines, some of which are short enough that you can convert that upward momentum to downward momentum on the other side, which is key. The timer is more forgiving in this direction.

Gilneas - Moderately Easy

Like the forward version of this race, go easy on vigor, especially early on. When the area is open and the rings are far apart, use the Skyward Ascent trick* to get some extra forward momentum. Doing so will give you wiggle room on the timer that you may well need. The timer didn't feel quite as tight as in the forward version, however.

Krazzworks - Moderately Easy

Navigation is trickier in reverse -- it's much easier to miss a ring or catch something on the way through the Krazzworks. If you navigate cleanly, however, the timer is unlikely to be a concern.

Twilight Terror - Easy

Don't push too aggressively, especially early on, but the timer is forgiving.

Loch Modan - Easy

Leisurely timer. The end has some quick upward twisting movements that are somewhat unusual but nothing you need to do anything about other than to steer with accuracy.

Dun Morogh - Very Hard

Start with a Skyward Ascent, then two quick Surge Forwards to gain some speed. Then push as hard as you can the rest of the way; vigor won't be an issue once you've reached the runway early on. Pick up all of the vigor on the runway, taking care to note that one of them is offset to the right a little. Use Skyward Ascent in the conventional way after ring 13 to ascend up to ring 14. (For reference, the ring hidden in the trees is ring 12.) Then use the Skyward Ascent trick* 1-2 times between rings 14 and 16 to get extra horizontal speed (without missing the vigor power-up between 15 and 16). The rest is about being very precise with your turns. Visibility is poorer in the second half of the course than it is in the other direction, so you have to know the course very well to be accurate. Spam Surge Forward hard; you shouldn't need Skyward Ascent again until the very end.

Searing Gorge - Easy

I beat this with time to spare by going full throttle the whole way, even though there were brief moments where I was out of vigor as a result.

Badlands - Moderately Easy

Use Skyward Ascent to start, then only two Surge Forwards to get you as far as ring #4. That way you'll have enough vigor to use two Skyward Ascents to make the long incline between rings 4 and 7. After that, be a little conservative in your expenditure of vigor. Use Skyward Ascent on inclines (none so dramatic as that first one), particularly at the end.

Elwynn Forest - Hard

Push hard from the beginning; don't worry about vigor conservation like you have to in the other direction. Use the Skyward Ascent trick* once in each of the two middle sections over the trees. You can usually avoid smacking into tree trunks if you take the turns very sharply. Timer is tight, but when I finally beat it I had almost 2 seconds to spare.

Redridge Mountains - Moderate

Just as in the normal direction, the challenge with this race is vigor starvation. You have to strike the right balance between speed and making your vigor last. For me, the key was to employ the Skyward Ascent trick* twice while going across the lake.

Gurubashi Gala - Moderately Easy

Accurate navigation is harder in this direction. In particular, when squeezing under the footbridge in the middle, be already lined up for the ring beyond. After that, some of the turns are trickier than they are going forwards. The timer is quite forgiving, however. To avoid vigor starvation, don't go all out, but you shouldn't have to slack off too much either.

Deadwind Pass - Moderately Easy

The primary challenge to this one is navigating the course without bumping to rocks and things (although I found it less tricky as in the normal direction). Timer is generous.

Blasted Lands - Moderately Easy

The primary concern is not grounding yourself on little bumps -- a challenge in both directions but especially in reverse. Compensating for that, I didn't find it as tricky in reverse to manage vigor; I pushed fairly hard throughout, and while that occasionally resulted in brief moments of vigor starvation, it never became an issue.

Booty Bay - Easy

Push moderately aggressively throughout. When you get to the gate, it was easier and more direct for me to go over it rather than through it, as I did in the normal direction. No Skyward Ascent tricks* needed.

--

* The "Skyward Ascent Trick" involves using Skyward Ascent to gain horizontal speed for a more sustained burst than Surge Forward can manage. To do it, quickly aim straight up, hit Skyward Ascent, and immediately aim horizontally again. It takes practice to hold an accurate course while doing this, but if you pull it off it converts the vertical momentum you normally gain with Skyward Ascent into considerable horizontal momentum.
