Fighting with Style: War-torn

I wrote a ticket about this achievement and this was the GM response:

"Currently it's actually not possible to complete this achievement, I'm afraid. However our developers are currently looking into it so hopefully that will change in the future. It's being investigated at the moment so either it's supposed to be earnable or it's supposed to be feats of strength. I don't have more information at the moment but it's definitely not something that's being ignored. There's no work around I can provide which would grant the achievement so I truly can only ask for your patience while it's being looked into."

So yeah, we have to wait until it's hotfixed one way or another.

I submitted a ticket 3-4-19 and received a response from a GM that the achievement is supposedly working and once you hit honor level 80 it should be awarded, so I submitted a response that said I was honor level 80 but didnt get the achievement.

A different GM responded and said:
"Thank you for following up with us on this achievement issue! I have reviewed everything here and confirmed this is a known issue we're working on at this time.

We normally wouldn't be able to grant achievements like this, but after reviewing all the details here, I found I could make an exception with this one. I see you have met all the current criteria here, so I granted the achievement "Fighting With Style: War-Torn" just now. Congratulations!"

I was granted the achievement mid raid last night. Note though that it did not retroactively grant the Legacy achievements for the Crests that were originally required based on Legion Prestige levels.

So either submit some tickets until you get the achievement granted or wait for an eventual patch or hotfix.

This achievement is granted once unlocking all 4 colour variations for your War-Torn Artifact Weapon Appearance.

The 4 colour variations are unlocked as follows:

As it stands, it will be some time before this achievement will be attainable, as there will be only 4 Prestige levels to advance through at launch, with further ranks added each season (Source).

Through the new Honor system, you work your way to Honor Level 50, unlocking talents on the way. Once reaching Honor Level 50, you can choose to stay there and make use of your unlocked talent tree, or you can increase your "Prestige Level", wiping your progress and bringing you back to Honor Level 1, but unlocking cosmetic rewards by doing so (and advancing in Prestige level).
You can repeat the process over and over again to attain higher Prestige levels. Each progressive Prestige level requires more honor to reach than the one before.

Resetting for increased Prestige will yield more rewards the more you do it (pets, mounts, etc.). The Prestige rewards do not require any particular rating in Arenas/Rated Battlegrounds - they can be obtained just by grinding honor over time.
