Ironsides

This achievement does not appear to currently give credit for the transport ships, even if they are leveled to epic.

Edit: Ticket response from a GM confirmed it is a known bug and they are looking into it as of 6/30/15.

2. Ships MUST be upgraded to *Epic* quality.

4. It does not matter if the ship started as Uncommon or Rare.

6. Ships which crafted as Epic will *not* occur the Achivement.

8. After the upgraded been achieved, you can easily get rid of said Ship type.

10. Crew of the Ships does not matter.

12. Progress is character specific and *not* account wide.

READ: The Achivement is currently bugged and will not grant you any progress for turning transport ship into Epic quality, according to GM, currently there is no way to prove and get progress in the future if said transport ship has been destroyed or decommisoned.

Make sure to save the transport ship you leveled till the bug is fix so a Game Master will be able to confirm it and grant you credit for it or else you will have to level a new one.

EDIT: Recently the Achivement was fixed with the last patch, the Game Master refused anyway to give me credit for the progress and apperently to other people too, to achieve it, we need to level up a transported again.

This achievement is a reference to two ships.

First, the USS Constitution, a US Navy ship, the world's oldest commissioned naval ship, that was known as "Old Ironsides".

According to WikiaPedia:

[USS]Constitution is most famous for her actions during the War of 1812 against the United Kingdom, when she captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five British warships: HMS Guerriere, Java, Pictou, Cyane, and Levant. The battle with Guerriere earned her the nickname of "Old Ironsides" and public adoration that has repeatedly saved her from scrapping.

Second, the USS New Ironsides, a US Navy ship.

According to WikiaPedia:

Although she was struck many times by Confederate shells, gunfire never significantly damaged the ship or injured the crew.[2] Her only casualty in combat occurred when she was struck by a spar torpedo carried by the CSS David. Eight crewmen were awarded the Medal of Honor for their actions during the Second Battle of Fort Fisher in 1865. The ship was destroyed by fire in 1866 after she was placed in reserve.
