Archaeology epics count towards this achievement.

For me the fastest and cheapest method to get this quickly was via Draenor Enchanting via Temporal Binding.

Requires the [item=122711] from the <Dust Trader> at the Garrison (the professional traders spawn on a rotation but can be replaced by other NPCs so can take a while to get them).

Ideally you have an Enchanter with level 100 Draenor Enchanting for this recipe (and have it already from the dust trader, most will) plus one that has a good store of [item=120945] the BoP item.

This works so well for the purpose of this achievement as it produces 2 x epic items per craft i.e. 2 x Fractured Temporal Crystal using a cheap and easy to obtain item, Luminous Shard.

So recipe is 1 x [item=120945] and 1 x Luminous Shard.

Fractured Temporal Crystal can be brought from the Auction House and often in large numbers still at a cheap price as it is not in great demand.

It can also be traded from the Trading Post if you have that building and the Trader is offering a good exchange rate for [currency=824] for Draenic Dust which is used in a normal recipe 20 = 1 Fractured Temporal Crystal.

This is a great way to use garrison sourced resources to get this achievement and quickly without too much cost.

There are other options from other professions like the [item=122601] via Alchemy but it will just take longer, or a combination of various alts with garrison s making the catalysts etc. I also used alts to exchange the resources for dust and send to my Enchanter, so some good options.

It seems that jewelcrafters can't contribute towards this. Our highest recipe is 358
