FAQ:

What is this? An achievement that is associated with the quest Roll Club: Serpent's Spine

What are the prerequisites? You must be Revered with Golden Lotus, and have done the non-daily quests that become available when you hit Revered (collect the Thunder King's items).

Which days is this achivement available on?This achievement is only available when Roll Club: Serpent's Spine is offered. This quest is only offered when a certain set of random dailies is picked by the server. One of the three hubs must be be Gate of the Setting Sun.

There are 7 possible hubs (other than Golden Stair), but I'm not sure which combinations are possible, or their relative frequency. I have only ever had #1 = Golden Stair, #2 = Mistfall (either state) or Whitepetal (either state), #3 = all 7 options possible.

Today (first time I got Roll Club offered), I had Whitepetal Lake (Invasion) as the second hub, and GSS as the third.

Furthermore, It's possible to have GSS but not have the quest offered. In fact, today was the first time in roughly five times of getting GSS that the quest was offered for me. The quests I had today were:
- The Battle Ring
- Survival Ring: Blades
- Bloodied Skies
- Upon the Ramparts

When is the achievement available on the day? You must clear the first two quest hubs for the day.
Roll Club was available for me after doing the first two of the above quests (I never did the last two). I forgot to check its availability immediately before doing the first two though.

Can you try the achievement multiple times? Yes, after finishing the quest, you can do the roll course again on the same day by talking to Kelari Featherfoot. If you talk to her on the wrong day, or before the quest becomes available, she tells you the first two rules of Roll Club instead.

How do I track my time? Find the achievement in the Achievements UI and shift-click it. Then, when you start the course , you will see a timer counting down.

I'm not getting credit for the achievement? I found that I got credit when I finished with 8 seconds remaining, but did not get credit on attempts with 6 or fewer seconds remaining. Some posts on here suggest that the finish line may be bugged; however, on my successful attempt I blasted through the line and rammed into the last turret behind it (stopping there). I had done this on unsuccessful attempts.

My conclusion is that the timer is just bugged and you have to do it with 8 seconds or more remaining.

How do I improve my time? Use the mouse to turn (hold RMB and move mouse left or right). You can jump too. Hit all the ramps and avoid the oil, get all of the first 12 or so speed buffs.

A fun if slightly frustrating achievement. You get to go on the roll course as a daily with Golden Lotus, got it the first time today, you're not sent to this NPC by anyone, he's at the west side of the setting sun garrison.

The roll course is basically a race, there's stacking speed boosts, oil slicks that slow you down, barriers and ramps. It took me a few attempts to get the layout of the course and practice but you don't need to have a perfect run, on the achievement run I missed 1 or 2 speed boosts and hit 2 oil slicks. At the start it seems really easy...but remember, those speed boosts stack, by the time you get near the end you're going seriously fast and the slightest error can send you flying off the side of the wall or stuck on a barrier!

One thing that helped me shave those last few seconds off was jumping. Once you get to 10-12 stacks or so, there are some segments of the wall where a well-timed (and directed) jump can save you a lot of time and guarantee that you won't hit any oil patches.

EDIT: Something else that might help you. Getting too many stacks may actually do your more harm than good. In my estimate, anything between 12-15 stacks should be enough. More stacks make it more difficult to maneuver, and you may even get to the point where you reach an oil patch's location before the game client can load it. Don't overdo it.
