You may be asking yourself: "What's to stop me from capturing level 9 creatures to minimize my effort on this one?"

The answer: Nothing's stopping you. It works.

It may be worth noting it says raise, so capturing 30 lvl 10 pets will not grant you the achievement

are a great way to speed up this achievement. Once a day I get this quest chain (everyone seems to but not sure exactly why) and get my Celestial Dragon LVL 25 out. He can solo with his heals, but you can probably use just about any lvl 25 safely. Then I just go down my list of pets that can handle one round against these tamers. They must be lvl 9 or lower, obviously.

There's a few tricks involved:

1) - Time your switch, usually after the easiest opponent has just used a hard-hitting cool-down.
2) - Try to avoid an opponent that will NOT let you swap out (that's a death sentence).
3) - Don't expect lvl 1-2 pets to fare well. About 90% of my lvl 3's have survived okay, but one hit cuts their health in half. Besides it only takes a couple minutes to get to lvl 3 in cities.
4) - Unless you want to use up bandages or wait for the 8 minute Revive Battle Pets cool-down, keep tabs on where the closest Stable Master is.

If your lvl 25 can heal himself, great, try to time it right before the fight ends. That way you can get through enough fights to get ya to the Revive cool-down. As you probably know by now, your leveling pet will get all his health back just about every fight until 8 or 9.

You can follow this guide with normal pet fights (if you simply enjoy battling) but you don't get nearly the experience.
If your leveling pet is a bubble or two away then a normal, easier fight is perfect.

Just a final note: I use multiple lvl 65+ toons to save on travel time. My druid is parked near Stone Cold Trixie for her daily sack of pet supplies and can port to Moonglade after the southern (and last) fights are done.

EDIT: The experience gained with the Safari Hat in the above situations is very nice. One of my level 3's survived a fight against Stone Cold Trixxy and earned 1881 exp pts. The hat bonus alone was almost enough to reach level 4.

All told, it came to five levels...very nice indeed!
