Swallow Your Pride

this is a raid-wide achievement, not a personal one, and it requires that no one in the entire raid gain pride from the [npc=71946], a.k.a. the "big add."

the Manifestation produces pride in 2 ways:

[spell=144379] - the add spawns in the same place every time and immediately tries to spam cast Mocking Blast. to avoid pride, it must be interrupted. the add can also be stunned. if you want to make it move from its spawn point, you either have to Death Grip it or use a blanket silence like Counterspell. [spell=57994] interrupts but does not make it move. for the purpose of this achievement, you might not want to bring it into the group to make it easier to deal with...

[spell=144370]: the add gives pride to the two closest people when it dies. to do the achieve, the two closest people have to have [spell=146595]. everyone else just has to make sure to be farther away. Norushen dies and stops giving this buff at 30%, so the achievement only applies until that point. it has a standard aggro table, so use stuns to keep it from chasing after bursty ranged.

25 man has three of these adds, so it's easier to do in 10.

None of these comments pre-date Warlords of Draenor, so let me let you in on a little secret:

Burn boss quickly. Collect prize.

You should have him down before he puts anyone in prison, even in a small group. We had 6 level 100 toons, including a few raid-geared individuals. Here's to your success!

How to do it!

Doing this is faily easy. The room got 3 "Portals" - When you enter the room you got them at each of the walls. South, west and north wall.

The add Manifestation of Pride spawns at the west wall and casts one spell that is interruptable - Mocking Blast. It is possible to stun, interrupt or silence the cast and when it dies it will expload and do Last Word giving 5 pride to the closest 2 players. This is a raidwide achievement so when the add dies you need to have two(2) people with the debuff Gift of the Titans to stand closest to the add resulting in no one gaining any pride.

Norushen will die when the boss reaches 30% HP and you are done with the achievement.

TL;DR
- Manifestation of Pride spawns at the west wall during the fight.
- He will cast Mocking Blast that is interruptable
- When the add dies he will give 5 pride to the closest 2 players, Last Word.
- The closest two(2) persons need to have the debuff Gift of the Titans on then or its failed.
- When the boss reaches 30% Norushen dies and you have completed the achievement.
