The Only Escape

Edit: This is now trivial for everyone at level 100, and if you've got decent gear (650-ish ilvl) then you can even do it without much trouble on 25 heroic. Nothing changes at 100, except that you must take care not to kill Halfus by accident, and can just ignore the weekly set of buffs.

Pretty easy to solo on 10 player normal at level 90 with reasonable gear (I did it on my 565 ret Paladin). For those unfamiliar with this fight, here's the basics:

The fight consists of the boss, [npc=44600], and a random set of 3 out of 5 possible dragon adds. The dragons all start out friendly and chained to the platform, with 3 active (full health) and 2 inactive (low health and the [spell=86003] debuff (sad :( )). The active dragons are applying buffs to the boss and can be released during the fight, at which point they become hostile and start applying a helpful effect for the raid (a buff or boss debuff).

See this great comment on the Halfus page for details about the dragons and the effect they have since, depending on your spec and gear, some combinations may be easier than others.

To get this achievement, you must:

0) Choose which two of the three active dragons you're going to free.
1) Start the fight by pulling Halfus.
2) Run over to one of the dragons you will free and release it by clicking it when the mouse cursor changes to a padlock. It's a 1.5 second cast.
3) Repeat for the second dragon.
4) Once both dragons have been released, kill them within 10 seconds of each other.
5) Kill Halfus.

Very easy at 100.

1) Start fight. Don't hurt boss too much.

2) Free a dragon.

3) Free another dragon.

4) Make sure they're close together and kill both dragons.

5) Kill boss.

6) ?

7) Profit.
