The Trap Game

I have found an exceptionally good place to farm beasts required for this achievement.

Rooter's Pass is the location (precisely 43, 37), it is found between The Pit and Gorgorek's Fall in Gorgrond. The closest flight path is Skysea Ridge @ 40, 37.

This location is FULL of level 92 Young Rocktusk boars. These mobs are easily brought below 50% HP with a single hit or two from a level 100 player. Their respawn rate is exceptionally fast.

These mobs also get you [item=119810] which is the item required to get Savage Feasts from your barn, ANOTHER bonus.

The way I farm these creatures: as a Retribution Paladin, I place a trap at my feet, and pull one of the mobs with a single Judgment attack, this, 99% of the time will bring them below 50%, and the boar does the rest of the work by running towards me, and practically trapping itself.

It is possible to work on trapping at level 120 with the Soft Foam Sword - I don't even have to remove my full-powered weapon. Just put the foam sword on one button and the trap on an adjacent, bop and trap, and move on.

I tried using the Whole-Body Shrinka' but it makes your movement so slow between mobs.. and mounting removes the effect.

I'm working on this achieve now because.. why did I not know that you can get a teeny moocow battle pet [npc=87257] with a level 3 Barn? Must acquire!

Ok, so you wanna get this achievement?
I'm assuming you're Dragonflight 70 (or above depending on when you're reading this)

-Build the "BARN" in your Garrison (not the Stables like some idiot who wont be named and spent longer than he'd care to admit wondering why he couldn't trap animals) the blue print should be available from the little guy tot he right of the drafting board in the great hall.
-May as well upgrade it to level 2
-Pick up the quest from Homer Stonefield (that puts a trap in your inventory)
-Just to make it easier, place the trap on one of your action bars.
-Get yourself a "Soft Foam Sword" toy, come on, you're achievement hunting and you don't have one? Please!
-The first quest has you trapping stuff in Shadowmoon, easy. Bop them with the sword, activate the trap.
-Give Homer the Work Order, hand in the quest, grab the next one which is the same but in Grogond.
-Blah blah blah that's handed in awesome, you've got two Work Orders on the go.
-Now go to just outside Lunerfall to the Sout East, and start bopping and trapping the Elephant things there. There's like 10-13 there to get to start you off. They put "leathery caged beast" into your back pack which is stackable.
-Here's the calculations. It takes 3 hours to process 1 order, you need 50 orders for "The Trap Game" and 125 orders for "Master Trapper" to get the lvl 3 blueprint.
- 50 orders takes 150 hours which is 6.25 days.
- 125 orders takes 375 hours which is 15.625 days
- You can only place a maximum of 29 orders with Homer at one time, which lasts 3.625 days.
- So my advice is to go bop 10 elephant beasts a day and place orders each day for the next 7 to 16 days.

Edit: I've just seen a less than glowing comment, so now i'm doubling down! This achievement is not something you get by accident just by Chromie-timing WOD, this is an achievement hunter achieve. So if you're here looking at these posts its because you want this achievement, noob or not. My post about the Soft Foam Sword stands, i would also suggest that some players might benefit from the humour trinket, altho that seems to be a one-off random drop when first downloading the game and can't be farmed. Secondly, i posted about lunarfall coz i played lunarfall, had i played greenboyz, i would have posted about them. Happy hunting!
