In the first phase we surrounded the boss and avoided any unnecessary hits from the Giga-Zap, only the person targeted by Giga-Zap should be taking the hit. Using a defensive cooldown is always a good idea.
For the second phase we had a pretty good team comp with 2 melee and 3 ranged. As Mechagon's Omega Buster spawns we placed the monk tank on the left hand side very close to the boss. We then placed our mage roughly middle left of the arena so as to avoid clipping our tank when it is the mages turn to eat the much beefier Giga-zap. I, as an ele shaman, stayed in the centre with a clear line from me to the boss for the same reason as above. Our druid healer and demon hunter were placed on the right mirroring the left side, DH up close on the right and healer middle right.
The boss will only ever overlap Gigazap with Plasma Orb so by the time the Magneto-Arm is deployed it will not matter where you stand so long as you resume your positions afterwards, keeping the tank in melee range at all times to avoid entering Protocol: Ninety Nine.
Anyone know who the voice actor for King Mechagon is? Can't see to find it mentioned anywhere online but he sounds so familiar.

Overview
King Mechagon, a master inventor, unleashes two of his greatest contraptions. Initially, he begins his assault by piloting the Aerial Unit R-21/X. Once destroyed, King Mechagon unleashes his greatest weapon, the Omega Buster mech suit.
