Formerly Librarian Normantis from Amber Ledge, Borean Tundra. Supposedly he was kicked out of the Kirin Tor sometime after the player completed the quest The Art of Persuasion. The objective of the quest was to torture an Imprisoned Beryl Sorcerer, which directly conflicts with the morals of the Kirin Tor, of which Normantis actually alludes to in the following quote provided by DashFury:
"The Kirin Tor isn't allowed to torture people, so you'll torture them for us and it won't be immoral anymore, for some reasons. 100% ethical, Kirin Tor approved."
