For many years, champions among the races of Azeroth have stood against the Lich King only to be slaughtered mercilessly and forced to serve in his army of undead horrors. In his ongoing struggle to stop the Lich King, Tirion Fordring of the Argent Crusade has joined forces with Darion Mograine of the Knights of the Ebon Blade in order to assault Icecrown Citadel with a unified army called the Ashen Verdict.

Falric

This champion of the Scourge was among the first death knights created by Arthas after claiming Frostmourne. Falric loyally followed his prince on a doomed campaign to Northrend only to be rewarded with betrayal by the prince he served faithfully all his life.

Abilities & Strategy

Quivering Strike

Falric strikes a player, inflicting Physical damage and reducing the target's chance to dodge by 20% for 5 sec. This strike may not be avoided.

Impending Despair

Falric strikes fear in a player's heart, stunning them for 6 sec. if not dispelled before 6 sec.

Defiling Horror

Falric unleashes a blood curdling yell, filling the minds of nearby players with Horror and inflicting Shadow damage every 1 sec. for 4 sec.

Hopelessness

Falric reduces the damage and healing dealt by all nearby players by 20% for each time he casts Hopelessness. In Heroic Difficulty, Hopelessness reduces damage and healing dealt by 25% for each time Hopelessness is cast.

Marwyn

Marwyn had known Arthas all his life and saw him not just as his prince, but as a true friend. As Arthas sailed to Northrend, the knight followed him without hesitation. Though his friend would later plunge a cursed runeblade through his heart, Marwyn still felt it break upon seeing what the prince had become.

Abilities & Strategy

Obliterate

Marwyn brutally strikes a player, inflicting Physical damage.

Well of Corruption

Marwyn corrupts the ground, afflicting all players within the corruption with Corrupted Touch. This effect increases Shadow damage taken by 30% for 10 sec.

Corrupted Flesh

Marwyn corrupts the flesh of nearby players, reducing their maximum health by 25% for 8 sec.

Shared Suffering

When removed, it splits the remaining damage to the player and his allies.

Escape from Arthas

Two leaders sought to defeat the Lich King in single combat, but quickly learned they were no match against the power of the one true king. Seeking to avoid their fate, they tried to flee from his sanctum. Arthas would savor every moment of their futile efforts. There was no escape from the inevitable.

Abilities & Strategy

Ice Wall

Arthas summons a wall of ice that blocks player's path. The wall perists until all Arthas' minions are defeated.

Remorseless Winter

Pain and Suffering

Arthas lashes out at all players behind him, inflicting Shadow damage every second.

Arthas' Minions

With each Ice Wall that is created, Arthas summons waves of minions to destroy players trapped by the wall.

Raging Ghouls leap to a player's location.

Shadow Bolt

Risen Witch Doctors hurl a bolt of dark magic at a player, inflicting Shadow damage.
