I've gotten a large stack of these from the 20-21 spiders in Thelgen Rock in The Wetlands (same place as you mine Incendicite Ore). Mining this area left me with plenty of stacks of spider parts, iccor as well as some greens and of course the Incendicite Ore (if your a miner), which as it's a rather low-level quest, but it can sell for money on the AH.
as of patch 4.2 farming these and they are NEVER dropping for me. have tried a wide variety of scorpids and spiders all across the world. need them to make strong anti venom. so frustrating. arggggh..
ATTN Twinks: due to low drop rates on Small Venom Sac. Strong Anti-Venom is now the "go-to" for removing rogue poisons and hunter stings. Farming Large Venom Sac is pretty easy if you fly to Slabchisel's Survey in the Wetlands and kill all the spiders in and around the cave to the N.W. (Coords) 53/64. In about 15 minutes, I was able to gather 20 which will make 60 anti-venom's!
Side note; Strong Anti-Venom is learned from Manual: Strong Anti-Venom. If you don't have that yet, Check the AH or run the Gnomeregan a few times.
