Light Leather

Best place is wetlands at 68,47 on the road south east of greenwardens grove, there is a battle between Ebon slavehunters and dragonmaw whelpstealers, the slavehunters drop light or medium leather, no scraps, and various cloth, they respawn as soon as they are killed so you can just stand in one spot (their spawn point beside baracade on road is best) and kill 4 mobs and they will have respawned before you skin them , it's actually quite hard to keep up and you will find yourself standing in a pile of bodies as you can't skin fast enough.

In one hour I got
400 light leather
280 medium leather
40+ hides
200 wool cloth
and varoius other cloth and green etc

If the slavehunters are fighting the whelpstealers kill them to make them respawn

A good place to farm light leather (for Alliance) is in the North-east part of Loch Modan. The level 16-17 bears and boars drop 1-2 light leather with some medium leather, but no scraps. Also, the density is high and I was able to farm continually on my 36 druid.

I tried the level 14-15 croc island, where the spawn rate is really high, but they dropped too many scraps.

Elwynn Forest, Maclure Farm.

Boars here have 0 respawn time. You have as much of a chance to get light leather as you can ruined scraps, but with the rate of boar respawns it hardly matters. You'll also get lots of meat for cooking here.

AoE helps for instant kills after pulling multiple boars. Throwing/wands also helps to pull them into a nice pile so you don't have to move as much. Time pulls inbetween looting/skinning for maximum efficiency.
