10[*] BoP Motes of Harmony combine to make one BoP Spirit of Harmony.

On 9/18/2012 Ghostcrawler said they will probably make Spirits of Harmony Bind on Account "eventually". Source.

This doesn't appear to be well known, so upvotes appreciated.

For a dual-gatherer, it's a choice between cashing it in for something lower-value but immediately useful, vs. saving them for the probable/eventual day the above comes true (when your crafters may not need them anymore).

[*] Wowhead lists it as 9 Motes on the "Reagent For" tab. This is due to how the combine spell is coded. One mote consumes the other 9 to produce the Spirit of Harmony, and then a followup action consumes the 10th.

You can get some extra Mote of Harmony per day without grinding. There are some special type of seeds which provide crafting materials by planting and harvesting them at Sunsong Ranch (next to Tillers hub) in Valley of the Four Winds.

On harvest
[item=89233] provides Mote of Harmony.
[item=89197] provides Windwool Cloth.
[item=85216] provides random MoP herb. Could be any herb, even Golden Lotus.
[item=85217] provides random MoP enchant materials (mostly Spirit Dust).
[item=85215] provides random MoP minerals (mostly Ghost Iron Ore).
[item=89202] provides Mist-Touched Leather.

These seeds can be bought from [npc=58718] at Halfhill Market for a cost of 90 silver each. Note, you need to be Revered with [faction=1272] in order to buy them.

UPDATE: With the Patch 5.1, the amount of Golden Lotus you can buy for Spirit of Harmony at the Pandaria capitals is reduced to 2 (was 3). In addition to that, the chance that [item=85216] can germinate into Golden Lotus has been increased slightly, making it more efficient to farm through [item=85216].
