I asked a GM today to look up the loot tables for this and several other very rare drops. His reply:
Flawless Arcanite Rifle: nothing found
Heavy Scorpid Gauntlets: should be lootable
Heavy Scorpid Leggings: nothing found
Black Silk Pack: should be lootable

Now we know that GMs are not 100% reliable, but given the already abysmally low drop rates on these recipes, I'm going to pass on the rifle and leggings until someone posts that they've found one recently. So if you (or anyone reliable you know) DOES fnd either of those recipes, PLEASE have them post it here. I have a stack of DVDs and chips and cold drinks (and a catheter) waiting for my next marathon farming session...

I had this pattern drop for me when I was killing the rare spawn near the big statue. I didn't realize it was special. Only that I didn't know it yet. I threw it up on the AH through my alt Bankerdemon, and no one purchased it. So I learned it, and have begun making these a few at a time. They sell for around 452 gold. So YES..it still does drop.

As of 5/9/23 in Patch 10.1, this pattern WILL drop. It's just a very low chance, but pretty easily farmable. I got mine in the Fields of Honor on my Demon Hunter who also had Leatherworking. I'm not sure if having said profession will increase your chance of a pattern dropping, but if it's like the Tidal Stalker and their Heavy Scorpid armor, it is. The trash in Fields of Honor is in 3 groups and spawns back in about 30 seconds. It took me around 40 minutes to get the Heavy Scorpid Leggings pattern to drop. During this, I got several Heavy Scorpid Vest and Heavy Scorpid Gauntlet patterns to drop for me. If you're collecting mog or patterns, it shouldn't take very long to get your pattern. I heavily suggest having a vender mount to help sell all the trash you'll pick up. Good luck hunting.

According to the official forum link listed at the end of the above comment, these patterns no longer drop from any source. Apparently the Heavy Scorpid Bracers and Helm are still sold by the LW vendor in Silithus.

Just bought these at auction house on eu-outland, for 350g, I was... very very happy

So.. either these still drops from some mob out there with insanely low droprate, or some person just started playing again and had these in their bags since long time ago.
